AFSA Quality Contractor Program: Good for Our Industry, Better for Our Business

In a recent article in Sprinkler Age Magazine, “Achieving Quality Contractor Recognition: Benefits Abound Through AFSA Program”, our own Jeff McCurley and Parks Moore commented on the benefits and hard work of being recognized by the AFSA Quality Contractor Program.

According to the article, the Quality Contractor program is used to publicly recognize and honor fire sprinkler contracting firms that have documented their commitment in four key areas of corporate responsibility: safety, training, quality of life, and industry and community relations.

“We use the logo on our website, brochures, and every piece of marketing we offer our customers,” says Jeff McCurley, S&S Sprinkler’s business manager. “While it was tough to achieve, it was well worth the process.”

The article states in addition to national and local recognition, contractors that receive this award can use the logo in bi documents, as well as letterhead, brochures, etc.

S&S’s Parks Moore also praised the benefits of the program stating, “We’ve received national recognition from AFSA for our participation in the program. It has definitely been worth the process and we plan to renew our application. I would recommend it to other contractors.”
